Customized payment platform for startups

Troquia

Troquia, a company in the financial sector, needed to replace its outdated technology platform. Facing issues with security, scalability, and automation, the challenge was to develop a robust solution that would enable digital payments, manage business finances, and provide a seamless experience for both users and administrators.

At Ganbaru Smartech, we accepted the challenge: to design and develop Troquia Platform, a comprehensive fintech solution for freelancers and businesses focused on payment management, accounting automation, and financial traceability.


Technological Solution: Scalable, Secure, and Modular Platform

Cloud Infrastructure with AWS

We opted for a distributed and scalable architecture in AWS, featuring:

  • Docker containers orchestrated with ECS.
  • Storage in S3.
  • MySQL database optimized for complex structures (including JSON).
  • High availability and resilience to traffic spikes.

This setup allows the deployment of frontend and backend services, automated tasks, and communications within a single infrastructure optimized for cost and performance.


Fintech Mobile App: Payments and Billing on the Go

We designed an intuitive and secure app with key features:

  • Secure login with password recovery and email validation.
  • Root account registration differentiating between freelancers and businesses, including tax data, business addresses, and invoice receipt emails.
  • Virtual wallet with the ability to top up via card, withdraw funds to a bank account (after IBAN verification), and track transactions. The system also manages negative balances with preventive blocking until regularization.
  • Payment method management with secure card tokenization integrated with Redsys.
  • QR payments, with generation and scanning directly from the app, real-time status updates, and transaction confirmations. Each payment automatically generates its corresponding invoice and accounting entry.
  • Automatic download and sending of invoices, both individual and bulk, with options to include customized text and images.
  • Geolocation of businesses registered by root users, accessible via a search tool with map and list views.

Thanks to these features, Troquia now offers fully digital, fiscally compliant, and real-time financial management.


Backoffice: Total Control for Troquia

The developed backoffice allows the Troquia team to centrally manage the entire mobile app ecosystem. The panel includes a primary Administrator role with access to:

  • Advanced account and role management.
  • Detailed entity views with tax information.
  • Lists of transactions, invoices, and accounting entries.
  • Multichannel communications via email, SMS, and internal notifications.
  • Management of automated processes and backups from the dashboard.

All within a secure, traceable, and easily scalable environment.


Automation and Bank Transfers

Troquia Platform automates invoice generation, accounting entries, and the preparation of bank remittances. Each day, a standard XML file is generated, ready for automatic submission to the bank, grouping:

  • Pending payments.
  • Withdrawal requests.
  • Positive accounting movements.

Result: smooth, secure, and fully traceable daily operations.


Development Phases and Applied Methodology

To ensure a high-quality outcome, at Ganbaru we followed a phased work methodology:

  1. Functional and technical analysis: requirements gathering, use case definition, data modeling, and technical architecture.

  2. UX/UI: wireframing and interface design aligned with Troquia’s visual identity.

  3. Layout and prototyping: responsive mobile interface development and integration of interactions.

  4. Backend and frontend development, integration with external services like Redsys, and Docker container setup in AWS.

  5. QA and automated testing, with test cases defined from the start, cross-validation, and progressive deployment in staging and production environments.

After this development, Troquia now has an application that enables fully traceable payments, automated billing management, centralized user and employee control, and a robust system aligned with fintech industry standards.

The combination of a virtual wallet, accounting task automation, and Redsys integration provides a smooth and professional user experience for both businesses and end customers.

We are currently working with Troquia on new features to strengthen their value proposition and improve user experience. The platform is ready to take on greater challenges, adapt to new business models, and continue growing alongside its users.
