The goal was to unify its digital ecosystem and provide a premium shopping experience for both distributors and end customers. The new e-commerce platform is a core component of the Zumex 360 platform, serving as a key pillar for scaling its international market presence and optimizing sales processes.

 

A scalable, multilingual B2B e-commerce focused on user experience

At Ganbaru, we designed a modular, secure, and flexible platform capable of supporting Zumex’s full catalog, managing complex promotions, integrating logistics flows, and adapting to the specifics of each country or distributor. Key achievements include:

  • Site fusion: Migration of existing websites (corporate, store, and industrial microsites) into a single SEO-optimized domain with 301 redirects and a multilingual structure.
  • Optimized checkout and quick purchase: Simplified payment process with advanced features such as cart import via CSV and user-specific customization.
  • Dynamic, filterable catalog: Browsing through hierarchical categories, intelligent search engine, and SEO-friendly product pages with enriched content.
  • Personalized promotional management: Discount rules tailored by customer, channel, or purchase context, with configurable compatibilities and incompatibilities.
  • Full synchronization with Dynamics 365: Covering orders, billing, stock control, and real-time pricing.
  • Private customer area: Secure access to purchase history, tickets, documentation, and warranty records.
  • Spare parts search and technical support: Intuitive tool based on serial number or model, with direct purchase options and integration with help articles and FAQs.
  • Multi-domain management for distributors: Personalized sites by market, centralized in a single tool, maintaining brand identity and access to advanced features.

E-commerce architecture highlights

The e-commerce architecture is built on orchestrated Docker containers, with services deployed on AWS, MySQL as the central database, and an S3-based file system for efficient storage. This setup ensures:

  • Automatic scalability during traffic peaks.
  • Optimized performance through caching layers and CDN usage.
  • Advanced security with encrypted access, role management, and order validation workflows.
